I am here still blog friends. I've been on a little spring break from crafting.

Been lost in the Twilight Saga...something I never thought I would say but I am actually loving the little stories these books hold to the point of obsession!! Enough for my husband to poke fun at!

• Off finishing some stuff on my to do list
• I'm all done playing with ribbon and fiber for today

• Seriously missing my sweetie who is working :*(
• Should have added cleaning the scrap area to the to do list (what a disaster area I think I need a hard hat)
• Is really liking writing posts in list form

Thank goodness is all I can say. What a week!

My to do's for today

1. Measure the picnic table seats for cushions
2. Finish laundry
3. Clean bathroom floor ( I don't ::heart:: white tile)
4. Post my Craft Critique review
5. Finish the mini book that has been sitting on my desk since last weekend
6. Print pictures for design team project
7. Go to the bank
8. Pick up stamps
9. Work 8 hours
10. Work out for at least 30 minutes

At least I will have a little friend to come along and help me out from now on...We welcomed Alfie to the family yesterday. Thanks to Ginny at The Monkey Travel Club for making him for me! He just loves to hold my blackberry and keep it safe! And he is very serious about it too! If you haven't checked out her new Animal Friends line or her sweet handmade items at iSew, you should.

oh...and Happy 1st day of Spring. What a joke....did I mention it is snowing in parts of the area here this morning. Very spring like!! I think I jinked it yesterday telling ever single one of my patients that I couldn't wait for some nice weather. ha ha

Christmas in March?

Ok....I never said I wasn't a procrastinator. Just edited my December Daily album and wanted to share a few pictures from it.

I really love this album. I went a little off the beaten path with it and really made it a great journal of time right now (well in December) for us to look back on.

The front and back cover were made from a priority mailing box that I had laying around. I think it likes being our December album instead of going to the recycling bin!

Most of the paper used was making memories FaLaLa collection. I instantly fell for them!

Is it spring yet?

Just one of the little notecards that I made for a friend that needs some cheering up!

I picked up the little "snail mail" stamp at my local stamp store, One Little Spark. I got a cute little snail stamp to go with it. I really think I wanna use it on everything that I am putting in the mail.

Proud to say that the little notecards were made entirely out of scraps.

Just me!

Assignment one for the design team at Scrapbook Cafe was to create a bio page about yourself. I had sooo much fun with this paper from Basic Grey.

I'm obsessed with cropping my pictures to look like Polaroids.

I just got done taking some pictures of my December Daily album.
(I know...I've been procrastinating!!) I've been trying to crop them for the past few days but keep getting distracted. Think it has something to do with me and hubby wanting time on the new computer.

Hi!!!

I'm still here....just been crazy busy. Haven't had much time to scrap or create, been trying to catch up with the assortment of things happening around here right now.

Just wanted to share a few things with you...

First....I'm proud to say that I am still following Q52. I've been writing down the questions as they were posted and my thoughts on each one in my little creating journal and I'm just about caught up with them. Here's what I can share so far.I picked up the Cuttlebug Woman Sign on clearance at Michael's and I think I am obsessed with it. It's just so darn cute. I also picked up the man sign too! Stay tuned for more layouts and projects starring them!

Also....I am sooo excited to report that I was picked to be part of the design team at my local scrapbooking store, The Scrapbook Cafe. It's my favorite scrapbooking store and I am super SUPER excited to get started with them. Our first assignment was a bio page so stay tuned for that.

And I am loving this painting by the very talented Rachel. Right after she posted it on her blog I saw it. It was very moving to me. A few minutes after seeing it I went to sleep and I dreamed about painting a sweet little painting about me and my husband...when I woke up I sketched a little picture of it in my creative journal. I am hoping to start it soon...

AND...I have bangs again and I am loving them....

Lastly...I am still having computer issues. (Thank goodness for my little blackberry or we would be losing our minds). I should be back to posting more regularly soon as we are getting a new PC in the next week or so.

That while browsing several stores these past few days I have suddenly realized that there are alot of great new handbags and clutches out. (I know...your thinking why is she talking handbags and fashion...she never does) I am just going to put this out there....

Hello my name is Heather and I am a purse buying addict. I have an obsession...I love them....can't get enough of them. Always have and always will!!

So I am sharing two little {budget friendly} clutches that I have had my eye on. Maybe cupid will drop one on my doorstep!

And this little sweetie is Mossimo {can be found at target} and I am loving the little gray one!

Sorry, life got in the way...

..Of me posting!

Between work, being tired, and this computer we have that wants to work only when it feel like it, it made it tough to get anything done. Any spare time that I have had has been spent cleaning, organizing, packing (and anything else that would keep my mind off of turning another year older).

I have managed to get some scrapping done but the only thing I can show you today (thanks to this piece of crap computer) is the last Q52 I made.


Thank goodness for my little smart phone or I wouldn't be able to even show you that.

I am really loving this project. I just cut out a few more clouds for the next few.

I am thinking of starting a art journal very soon (like tonight). I think it is exactly what I need.

Q 52

I am sooo excited about this little project that I have been following from embers blog. I've been a fan of her's for a while.

Blogger is not co-operating with me this morning but you can see picture here on my flickr photostream.

So excited about this little project. All 52 will be cloud shaped which was inspired by embers first one.

I have not yet decided on a way to store these little babies....I was going to put a hole in them and use a binder ring but couldn't bring myself to punching the hole...just too darn cute!

My Reading List

I love having wish lists. My MIL got me these great picks for Christmas and I sat down and got to look through some of them today. I am loving them all!


I made a little list from flipping through AE's new book and I am psyched to make some mini's. Such great idea's in here that I have never thought about for a mini.

I did a little in my Wreck this Journal..tee heee heee...I seem to like wrecking things. My only question about this book is, has anyone really followed the directions on the back and mailed it to themselves? I think it is a cool idea but I would be really sad if it never got back to me.

Ugh...it is 1pm and I have to go get some things done. No more reading for me!
